Valley of the Têt and the Pic du Canigou
France > Pyrénées > Eastern > Roussillon > Valley of the Tet

The upper part of the Têt valley, known as the Pays de Conflent, is utterly dominated by the Pic du Canigou. The valley bottoms are lush with peach and apple orchards – with the possibility of work as a picker from June onwards – but the mountain presides over all, vast and uncompromising.
