The best areas to wander for shops selling end-of-line and last year's models at thirty- to fifty-percent reductions are in rue d'Alésia in the 14e, west of place Victor-Blasch; boulevard Victor in the 15e between rue Lecourbe and rue Desnouettes (M° Balard). Before you get too excited, however, remember that twenty percent off €750 still leaves a hefty bill – not that all items are this expensive. The best times of year to join the scrums are after the new collections have come out in January and October.
