Librairie d'Images 84 bd St-Germain, cnr rue St-Jaques, 6e. Big range of new comic books and luxury editions, but the best thing about this place is the comic-related paraphernalia: posters, t-shirts and models. M° Cluny-La-Sorbonne/Maubert-Mutualité. Mon–Sat 10am–8pm, Sun noon–7pm.

Thé-Troc 52 rue Jean-Pierre-Timbaud, 11e. The friendly owner publishes The Fabulous Furry Freak Brothers in French (Les Fabuleux Freak Brothers) and English; he is a friend of the author of the famous Seventies comics, Gilbert Shelton, who lives nearby. There are other comic books on sale, too, among Freak Bros books, t-shirts and posters, as well as a wide selection of teas and teapots, secondhand records, jewellery and assorted junk. The attached salon de thé (until 7pm) is comfy, colourful and restful, with board-games. M° Parmentier. Mon–Fri 9am–8pm, Sat 11am–8pm.
