You can stay online while in Paris at the handful of cybercafés, as well as several shops and libraries that offer Internet access.

Accessnet Cybercafé 37 rue la Lappe, 11e. Friendly Internet café with fifteen terminals. M° Bastille. Daily 10am–7pm.

Cyber Cube 5 rue Mignon, 6e (M° Odéon/St-Michel) & 12 rue Daval, 11e (M° Bastille). Internet access along with all kinds of other computer-linked services. Mon–Sat 10am–10pm.

Cybercafé de Paris 15 rue des Halles, 1er. Cybercafé with sixty machines in the region of Les Halles. M° Beaubourg/Châtelet-Les Halles. Mon–Sat 9am–midnight.

Easyeverything 6 rue de la Harpe, 5e (M° St-Michel; Mon–Sat 7am–8pm, Sun 9am–8pm). One of the city's largest Internet places with over 250 machines; not much ambience, but "easy" and practical. Other branches at 31/37 bd de Sebastopol, 2e, and 15 rue de Rome, 8e.

La Poste Most post offices now have a computer geared up for public Internet access. You need to buy a card first (€7, including 1hr connection), which can be recharged at €4 for a further hour's connection.

Web 46 46 rue de Roi-de-Sicile, 4e. Principally an Internet access zone, although there is a vending machine for snacks and drinks. M° St-Paul. Mon–Fri 9.30am–midnight, Sat 9.30–9pm, Sun 1.30pm–midnight.
