Queues and Fastpass
France > Paris > Disneyland > Queues and Fastpass

One-hour waits for the popular rides are not uncommon – don't be fooled by the length of the visible queues; they often snake for a further 100m or more inside. Bring sunhats or umbrellas, and make sure your kids have all been to the toilet recently before you begin to queue, as once you're in, it's very hard to get out; keep snacks and drinks handy, too. To avoid the worst of the queues, some of the most popular rides use the so-called Fastpass scheme, in which you insert your entry card into a ticket machine by the entrance to the ride; the machine then spews out a time at which you should come back, whereupon you are entitled to join the much shorter fastpass queue.
