On the corner of Main Street, Town Square Photography rents out still and video cameras, and sells film, lenses, cameras and tripods amid a collection of museum pieces. Kodak is one of Disney's main sponsors, and kiosks throughout the park sell film and offer two-hour print developing. If you succumb at this early stage to the idea of takeaway snapshots and the Disneyland Paris home movie, you'll be in serious financial trouble by the end of the day. As a practice run, see if you can get down Main Street without buying one of the following: a balloon, a hat with your name embroidered on it, an ice-cream, bag of sweets, silhouette portraits of your kids, the Wall Street Journal of 1902, a Disney version of a children's classic in hardback, an evening dress and suit and tie, a Donald Duck costume, a model rocket, a tea service and set of crystal glasses, some muffins, a Coke, a few cakes, a limited edition Disney lithograph, and a complete set of Disney characters in ceramics, metal, plastic, rubber or wool. Leaving Main Street is quickest on foot (crowds permitting), although omnibuses, trams, horse-drawn streetcars, fire trucks and police vans are always on hand, plus the Disney pièce de résistance, the Railroad, for which Main Street Station has the longest queues.
