France for visitors

Arrival, orientation and access
France > Paris > Disneyland > Arrival, orientation and access

The layout is simple enough. If you've come by public transport, you step out of the train and RER stations onto a central plaza, with the bus stop in front of you. Ahead lies the glitzy Disney Village, a pedestrianized street lined with noisy restaurants, shops and cinemas. A hundred metres or so away to the right, stand the two main park gates. The first you come to leads through the landmark Disneyland Hotel to the original Disneyland Park; the farther one to the new Walt Disney Studios Park.

To get to the Disney hotels, you can stroll through Disney Village to the hotel area behind (though all except Hotel New York are too far away to walk to comfortably with luggage), or take one of the free yellow buses from the bus station; the hotel name is shown on the display on the front of each bus. If you've come by car, you can drive straight to your hotel or to the parking areas (car parking costs €8 per day).

For people in wheelchairs or with limited mobility, the Disabled Visitors Guide details accessibility of the rides. You can pick it up at City Hall in Disneyland Park, or Studio Services in Walt Disney Studios Park; to have it sent to you in advance, call 01.60.30.60.30. Note that Disney staff aren't allowed to lend assistance in getting into and out of the less accessible rides, but all the loos, phones, shops and restaurants have wheelchair access.
