Trains and buses arrive in Le Tréport on the far side of the harbour, a short walk from the main quai. Turning left as you hit the main drag will bring you to the tourist office, on quai Sadi-Carnot (July & Aug daily 9am–1pm & 2–7pm; April–June & Sept daily 9am–12.30pm & 2–6.30pm; Oct–March Mon–Sat 9am–noon & 2–6pm; tel 02.35.86.05.69).Of the hotels, the best in terms of a sea view and good-quality food is the Riche Lieu at 50 quai Francois-1er (tel 02.35.86.26.55; €30–40), which has modernized rooms with showers and a wide range of menus starting at €15 for a "bistro" meal. The Matelote, 34 quai Francois-1er (tel 02.35.86.01.13), is a quayside seafood restaurant with a high gourmet reputation.
