| Honfleur's gare routière, just to the east of the Vieux Bassin, is served by over a dozen direct daily buses from Caen (#20), and up to eight express services from Le Havre (Bus Verts; tel 08.01.21.42.14, www.busverts14.fr). The nearest train station is at Pont l'Évêque, connected to Honfleur by the Lisieux bus (#50) – a twenty-minute ride. The tourist office adjoins the glass-fronted Mediathèque on quai Le Paulmier, between the Vieux Bassin and the gare routière (Easter to mid-July & Sept Mon–Sat 10am–12.30pm & 2–6.30pm, Sun 10am–5pm; mid-July to Aug Mon–Sat 10am–7pm, Sun 10am–5pm; Oct–Easter Mon–Sat 10am–noon & 2–5.30pm; tel 02.31.89.23.30, www.ot-honfleur.fr). Ask about their summer programme of guided tours of the town, which range from two-hour walkabouts to full-day excursions including meals.
