The busiest and most central club in town, if not the coolest. Open daily 10.30pm–5am, but only gets going late. McEwan's Café 254 rue de Bourgogne. One of the liveliest bars in town, with students and older clientele. Tues–Thurs & Sun 3pm–1am, Fri & Sat 3pm–3am. Paxton's Head 264–266 rue de Bourgogne. English pub with a club in the cellars that's popular with a trendy, twenty-something crowd, with occasional live music. Tues–Sat 3pm–3am.
