Drinking and dancing aside, there's plenty to do at night in Toulouse. Several cinemas regularly show v.o. films, including: ABC, 13 rue St-Bernard tel 05.61.29.81.00; Cinémathèque, 68 rue de Taur tel 05.62.30.30.10; Cratere, 95 Grande rue St-Michel tel 05.61.52.50.53; and Utopia, 24 rue Montardy tel 05.61.23.66.20. There's also an extremely vibrant theatre culture here. The tourist office can give you a full list of venues, which range from the official Théâtre de la Cité, 1 rue Pierre-Baudis (tel 05.34.45.05.05, www.tnt-cite.com) to the workshop Nouveau Théâtre Jules-Julien, 6 av des Écoles-Jules-Juliens (Mon–Fri 9am–noon & 2–5pm; tel 05.61.25.79.92). The larger venues, such as Odyssud, 4 av du Parc Blagnac (tel 05.61.71.75.15; bus #66), feature both theatre and opera, while the Orchestre National du Capitole has its base in the Halle aux Grains on place Dupuy (tel 05.61.99.78.00, www.onct.mairie-toulouse.fr). The city's biggest concert venue (9000 seats), specializing in rock, is Zénith at 11 av Raymond Badiou (tel 05.62.74.49.49; metro Arènes, Patte d'Oie; bus # 14, 46, 63–67), while Cave-Poesie at 71 rue de Taur (tel 05.61.23.62.00) is home to literary workshops and gatherings of a decidedly bohemian spirit.
