Arguably Corsica's greatest ice-cream maker, with tables on a cramped pavement terrace or upstairs on an even smaller mezzanine floor. In winter, they also do a legendary chickpea tart to take away. Le Pub Assunta 5 place Fontaine-Neuve. Large, lively bar with a good selection of draught beers, a snooker table and a terrace opening onto the old quarter. Serves fast food too, and puts on live music with local bands on Thursdays.
