In July and August, the special Tire Bouchon train links Quiberon's gare SNCF, which is a short way above the town proper, with Auray. Bus #1 (TIM; tel 02.97.01.22.10) runs right to the gare maritime from Vannes, via Auray and Carnac.The tourist office at 14 rue de Verdun (July & Aug Mon–Sat 9am–7.30pm, Sun 9.30am–12.30pm & 2.30–7pm; Sept–June Mon–Sat 9am–12.30pm & 2–6pm; tel 02.97.50.45.12, www.quiberon.com), downhill from the gare SNCF, has a 24hr computer terminal outside showing which hotels are full, hour by hour.
